These Cherry Mash Truffles are a delicious copycat of Cherry Mash candies featuring a soft cherry center, covered in chocolate peanut coating. Into the bowl of your stand mixer, place butter and 1 cup of powdered sugar. Mix to combine. Add another cup of powdered sugar, followed by milk.
Remove the cherry stems and place cherries in a blender with the juice. Blend until liquefied. In a large mixing bowl blend together 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 2-1/2 bags (5 lbs) powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon vanilla, 2 sticks softened butter and liquified cherries.
Fill 3/4th of the mixing glass with ice. Stir until mixing glass is chilled. Add 1 large ice cube and cherry to an Old Fashioned glass. Twist orange peel inside the glass and rub the rim of the glass with peel. Strain Old Fashioned into the glass and stir to incorporate the cherry flavor and until glass is chilled. Ready to drink/serve.
