For example, she has a recipe for a white pizza, then below it one for a black and white pizza, which is the same thing but with olive paste, which she has a recipe for as well. The book is divided into types of courses, such as soups, sauces, desserts, etc.
I love the fact that Madison uses chopped cilantro stems in the base and then adds chopped cilantro to the top of the soup along with lime and yogurt. I sometimes add chopped sweet potatoes, which does add to the cooking time. Good curry powder is key!
Madison's is beautifully designed, even better than Bittman's, so that the recipes are short and easy to read. Neither book is big on color photos, but it doesn't matter. Madison must love the same foods I do, because my favorite fruits and vegetables are here in spades, in combinations more delicious than I have ever imagined.
