I recommend popping the steak in the freezer for 15-30 minutes before slicing so that it is easier to cut. Whisk Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, paprika, honey, black pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and onion powder together in a bowl. Add beef to bowl and turn to coat beef completely. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator, 3 hours to overnight.

What are the ingredients in beef jerky?

Teriyaki Beef Jerky Ingredients. Ingredients: Beef - soy sauce powder, sugar, corn syrup solids, salt, hydrolyzed corn gluten, soy protein, onion powder, Jen- Mai flavor enhancer (dextrose, salt, natural flavor, disodium inosinate), garlic powder, sodium erythorbate and sodium nitrite.

What is the best meat to make jerky?

Flank steak is a lean meat that makes excellent beef jerky, and it has a relatively consistent grain so it is easy to slice it thinly, with the grain, to make strips that you can easily dry.
