Question by Eileen O: How close are scientists in finding a cure for cancer?
I was wondering if there may be other countries that are more advanced than America, or maybe more advancements out there that’s so incredibly expensive or maybe not completely approved of so its not given or offered to the general public.

Are there informational websites, magazines, etc. where one can learn about this stuff, how can I begin an in depth investigation on cancer research and treatment?

Thanks in advance!
Denisedds: If you happen to revisit my question I am specifically asking about Lung Cancer. Thanks for you help.

Answer by Denisedds
If you are referring to a single cure, that will not likely happen in our lifetime if ever. There are more than 200 diseases called cancer and many of them are cured now. Professional journals are the best source of information on current news regarding research.

Treatments that are not approved yet are called clinical trials. You don’t mention what kind of cancer you are referring to. For information go to the National Cancer Institute’s website.

A World Without Cancer — the Story of Vitamin B-17 by G. Edward Griffin

This 1974 documentary by G. Edward Griffin explains the hypothesis that cancer is a “deficiency disease” that is brought about by the absence of Nitrilocides from Vitamin B-17 in people’s diets, and it shows evidence that a related medical treatment known as Laetrile is able to often cure cancers that have already started. Various issues are discussed including an explanation of the theory, evidence of the treatment being effective including case histories, and an explanation of ulterior motives causing the medical establishment to inappropriately be opposed to such treatment.
