C’mon over to marieforleo.com where the main discussion happens after the episode! Being stressed out and trying to get things done is not an ideal pairing, especially when you work from home and you have dirty dishes, laundry, etc. staring you in the face as you attempt to be productive at work. In this video you’ll learn some foolproof work life balance tips so you can get more done in both your work and personal life and stop being so dang stressed out all the time. First off, if you’re spending too much time slowly getting ready in the morning. Stop it. You really shouldn’t be taking more than 30 minutes TOPS to get ready. And the earlier you get up, the better. *Hint: if you use my “Catch a Flight” technique, getting up early will be inevitable. As far as cleaning goes, if you eat a meal at home, clean up right afterward. For meals and laundry, plan in advance and set aside time to stock your fridge with healthy food as well as a set day to do laundry. JUST START EATING A LITTLE MORE EVERYDAY TILL YOU GAIN THE WEIGHT YOU WANT AND THEN EAT LIKE THAT EVERYDAY AND YOU SHOULD MAINTANE THAT WEIGHT AND IT SHOULD TAKE ABOUT A WEEK OR TWO MAYBE THREE!
Concentrate on getting a healthy diet with all the right foods. Get exercise too and see if that doesn’t help.
Adding pounds just to add pounds doesn’t seem like a good idea. As you get older, you will find losing weight a real nightmare.
Good Luck
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not eat junk food!!!! (ie candy)
There are foods that you can buy and cook at home. Try buying foods that are rich in calories, although if you have the tendency to lose weight fast, that won’t stay on very long. Go to your local GNC or other fitness store, they have a lot of products that my fiance used when he was in high school to gain weight for his wrestling matches.
ps–Doritos are a high calorie, yummy fattening food!! So is ice cream!!
Eat alot of foods with fat in it. Don’t excercise.
Go to health food store and buy a weight gaining shake it tastes terrible but it will work
milk shakes(make your own) Protein drinks
Aren’t there high calorie bars that people eat to maintain/gain weight? (As seen on Mean Girls… cal-teen bars (sp?)) (silly reference but I know they exist!)
I’d like to make a deal with you — take a few pounds off me. I don’t mind losing ten pounds and you don’t mind putting it on…
How about it?
try drinking a protein shake or something like slimfast with your meals
any meal replacement drink will help because you will be getting twice the calories
and its a healthier way then loading up on junk food
i have the same problem its awful
good luck
People who do not drink enough water confuse thirst with hunger and put on weight.
life is a funny thing………here i am trying my best to shied some weight by dieting, running exercising etc and there is you want to increase your weight ……… i feel just don’t take any tension, enjoy the way you are, bye
Try adding good carbs and fats, like whole grains, nuts, avocados, etc. Also moderate exercise such as walking or swimming, so you add nice toning to your body rather than just flab. Protein shakes may be good if they don’t have a lot of artificial ingredients, check the label.
well since you can’t eat fast foods eat a lot of junk food late at night and dont do any exercising
This has been a guaranteed system for me. Eat,eat, eat don’t exercise. Watch TV,eat, eat ,eat, watch more TV. Don’t exercise more, anyway get the picture. I don’t think you will like the results. You will gain weight you will eventually become obese. You will eventually become a diabetic. You will eventually get cardiac difficulties. & you will die. Or you can accept being thin, and be grateful your not isolated, and lonely ,and laughed at.
eat and dont excercise..that is, until u get to the size u want lol
this article has a page on how to gain weight and the dietary needs
If you’re gaining lean weight, eat more protien, doesn’t have to be a powder or a bar or a shake, eat more lean meats. You must lift weights, and it needs to be heavy resistance. 4-6 sets, 6-12 reps, 1-2min recovery on sets. Sleeping is also important for muscle anabolism.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to gain weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Consume approximately 500 more calories then you’re burning everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/calsburned.htm
Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/weight/bmi.html
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:
